Job Description:

Gemeenschappelijke Regeling (GR) De Bevelanden is looking for a Data Analyst to support the Business Operations department with actionable insights, reporting, and data-driven decision support. Based in the De Bevelanden region (Zeeland), this temporary assignment focuses on enhancing operational transparency and supporting performance improvements through effective data use.

You will play a critical role in collecting, analyzing, and visualizing data to improve internal processes, support project evaluations, and contribute to organizational development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and interpret operational and administrative datasets to identify trends and improvement opportunities
• Develop dashboards, visualizations, and reports to support decision-making
• Collaborate with various departments to define data needs and deliver analytical solutions
• Ensure data integrity and consistency across systems
• Translate complex data into understandable insights for non-technical stakeholders
• Support ongoing digitalization and process optimization efforts
• Contribute to policy and performance reporting with accurate, timely data

Requirements:

• HBO/WO-level education in Data Science, Business Analytics, ICT, or a related field
• Proven experience working as a data analyst or business intelligence professional
• Proficiency in data tools such as Excel, Power BI, SQL, or similar platforms
• Experience with data collection, cleaning, and validation techniques
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication skills in Dutch (written and spoken)
• Able to work independently and prioritize multiple projects
• Experience in the public sector or municipal environment is a plus
