Position Overview

The Recruiter will report to the Director of Field Recruiting and will deliver strategic and tactical recruiting support as defined by leadership, which will include full lifecycle recruitment and interaction with various business leaders and hiring managers. The Recruiter will partner with hiring managers and HR business partners to define job requirements, understand business goals, and identify, source, screen, and attract a diverse pipeline of candidates to meet hiring goals. This role will work closely with other Recruiters, Recruiting Managers and Directors, and Human Resources associates and may require some travel locally (branches, seminars, etc.), or out of town (branches, hiring events, etc.) to support recruitment activities.

Skills We Are Seeking

Talent Acquisition:

  • Build and own relationships with key hiring managers and key stakeholders at the regional leadership level to achieve hiring goals.
  • Source, recruit, interview, and screen job candidates to fill active and forecasted job openings.
  • Utilize a variety of best-in-class sourcing tools and interview skills to meet recruitment goals with high quality and diverse candidates.
  • Successfully sell the role, company, compensation package, and growth opportunities to position SiteOne as an employer of choice.
  • Perform resume reviews, phone interviews, and face-to-face interviews, as required.
  • Fill high-level and hard-to-fill roles with a diverse pipeline of top talent.
  • Manage the staffing process from sourcing and selection through final offer, as required.
  • Act as a brand ambassador by promoting open positions on social media and professionally representing SiteOne at internal/external events.
  • Actively use the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to source, engage, and properly track/record all candidate information.
  • Understand and comply with company and government policies, regulations, and requirements related to recruiting, selection, and hiring.
  • Build relationships with diverse organizations and associations and participate in related activities, both in-person and virtually.
  • Coordinate travel to recruitment activities and site visits with a focus on cost control and maximizing the ROI of the trip. Up to 10% travel.

Professional Development:

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all department updates, policies, and standards.
  • Proactively seek non-required developmental opportunities to expand personal knowledge and skillsets in recruiting inside and outside of SiteOne.
  • Attend and actively participate in training sessions/workshops to obtain new knowledge and development.
  • Complete all assigned training in a timely manner.
  • Represent both the HR department and assigned business function(s) in a professional and responsible manner.
  • Maintain positive team morale and work well with other team members.
  • Participate in special projects, initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts, as needed, across various sub-teams.

Skills and Experience

  • 3+ years of proven, results-oriented recruiting experience of full-cycle recruiting utilizing direct sourcing experience, internet sourcing experience, and high-volume recruitment for hourly and salaried positions.
  • Prior success using job boards, social media, and sourcing tools to build diverse pipelines of top talent (LinkedIn, Indeed, CRMs, etc.).
  • Experience utilizing an ATS to source, track and maintain candidate information and status.
  • Prior success building and managing internal customer relationships and meeting expectations.
  • Proven success attracting passive candidates, presenting candidates, and maintaining a diverse talent pipeline.
  • Ability to properly assess candidates’ skills, knowledge, and cultural fit.
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
  • High energy, detail focused, action-oriented contributor with growth potential.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Strong time management/organizational skills.
  • Tech savvy. Experience with Microsoft Office, CRM, iCIMS, and A.I. a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish), a plus.
