Overview
Addison Group is partnering with a client, a large-scale construction firm, seeking a bilingual Recruiter to support a major multi-year project in Abilene, TX. This role focuses on recruiting high volumes of skilled trades professionals, primarily electricians, for ongoing site needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruiting for skilled trade positions, including sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates.
- Conduct both phone and onsite interviews, coordinating logistics and assessment administration.
- Collaborate with hiring teams and site managers to understand labor needs and maintain candidate pipelines.
- Support onboarding and compliance processes as needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation and candidate records in the applicant tracking system.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of recruiting experience in construction, industrial, or related high-volume environments.
- Fluent in English and Spanish (required).
- Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple requisitions.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, onsite project environment.
- Must present valid government-issued photo ID daily for site check-in.
- This is a hands-on, onsite position supporting a large construction project expected to continue for multiple years.
- Initial training may take place at our client Irving office for approximately one week (travel and lodging covered).
Employment details
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM (some overtime possible)
Employment Type: Contract (minimum 3 months, up to 1–2+ years)
Compensation: $29.00 – $31.25 / hour
Benefits: This position is eligible for medical, dental, and vision available after 60 days on contract
Base pay range: $29.00/hr - $31.25/hr
