As an HR Generalist at Fanatics Betting & Gaming (FBG), you will support the People team in executing essential HR operations to enable a strong employee experience. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment and who enjoys building partnerships and solving problems. You will contribute primarily through execution and collaboration, ensuring that day-to-day HR activities run smoothly and efficiently while supporting business partners with tactical HR needs.
Responsibilities
- Conduct exit interviews and summarize feedback for People Business Partners (PBPs).
- Support data audits related to employee information and organizational alignment.
- Own the intake process for general HR requests and employee issues that do not require PBP involvement.
- Assist with employee relations investigations by taking and summarizing bystander statements.
- Support document reviews and policy reviews initiated by PBPs or other teams.
- Draft and distribute internal communications that are People team-driven but not business-specific.
- Manage non-sensitive terminations including scheduling, delivering conversations, and ensuring follow-up actions are completed.
- Support performance cycle preparation (e.g., preparing deck templates, collecting data, organizing dashboards).
- Compile pulse survey decks and assist with summarizing qualitative feedback.
- Update and maintain attrition dashboards and related reporting tools.
- Help coordinate and run Leads and Team Meetings by preparing agendas and decks.
- Assist with data entry tasks and title audits in partnership with Shared Services and People Operations as needed.
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of generalist HR or administrative experience.
- Strong attention to detail and data integrity.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic understanding of HR policies and procedures.
- Comfortable with handling confidential information.
- Comfortable using AI tools and approaching problems with an automation-first mindset, seeking scalable solutions over manual processes.
- Experience with Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace tools.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong collaboration skills and willingness to support broader People team initiatives.
- Some experience with internal communications is a plus.
- Interest in growing into a strategic HR role over time.
