Overview

The Varsity Tutors Live Learning Platform connects ACSM tutors with students nationwide. As a tutor on the Varsity Tutors Platform, you’ll set your own schedule, earn competitive rates, and make an impact on students’ learning—all from home.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1-on-1 online tutoring for ACSM topics to students via the Live Learning Platform.
• Adapt lessons to individual learning styles and tutor preferences.
• Prepare instructional materials and utilize AI-powered tools to support instruction.
• Invoice for tutoring sessions; Varsity Tutors handles payments.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and an engaging teaching style.
• Expertise in ACSM and the ability to explain concepts clearly.
• Ability to personalize lessons and adapt to different learning styles.
• Priority given to those with tutoring/teaching experience and graduate-level education.

Compensation and Benefits

• Base contract rates start at $18/hour and can increase for specialized subjects, with potential to earn up to $40/hour with the same student.
• Paid up to twice per week for tutoring sessions you conduct and invoice.
• Set your own hours and tutor remotely—no commuting.
• AI-powered Tutor Copilot provides real-time instructional support and lesson generation.
• Platform handles logistics; you invoice for sessions and payments are processed by Varsity Tutors.

Note: Varsity Tutors does not contract with tutors in: Alaska, California, Delaware, Hawaii, Maine, New Hampshire, North Dakota, Puerto Rico, Vermont, or West Virginia.
