Overview
The Creative Media Production Assistant is responsible for providing overall assistance to the Creative Media production team to develop promotional elements supporting the dynamic and versatile programming of WWE across its many different platforms. This role will additionally have a concentration in maintaining project organization, preparing timelines, and ensuring the smooth operation of the editing process.
Responsibilities
- Providing assistance and support to Associate Producers, Producers, Creative Directors, and Senior Staff throughout the production process of multiple projects
- Active involvement in post-production including, prepping sequences, pulling selects, building rough cuts, logging footage, and supporting the overall post-production process
- Managing deliverables including quality control and adherence to deadlines
- Customizing and distributing spots for WWE’s media platforms and out-of-house affiliates
- Staying up to date on WWE’s product, including current events and branding/messaging
Qualifications
- Strong communication, organizational and strategic/critical thinking skills
- Ability to conceptualize ideas in a creative, non-traditional way
- Strong interest in post-production and assistant editor workflows preferred
- Able to work flexible/long hours, nights, weekends (1-2 PLEs per month), on-location shoots, etc. as needed
- Capable of handling various tasks and project needs simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor’s degree (Communications, TV/Film Production, or related field of study preferred)
- Editing experience (AVID) a plus
