- Set up and operate manual or CNC metal spinning lathes according to job specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to determine tooling requirements and process steps.
- Spin and form metal blanks into finished components using hand tools, rollers, and forming tools.
- Monitor spinning operations to ensure consistent quality and accuracy.
- Measure and inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and other precision instruments.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of spinning equipment.
- Make adjustments to machines and tools as needed to maintain part specifications.
- Work with a variety of metals such as aluminum, stainless steel, brass, and copper.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Document production data and report any discrepancies or issues to the supervisor.
- Assist the supervisor with special projects.
- Display willingness to assist and train others when necessary.
- High School Diploma/GED Equivalent required.
- 3 years of manufacturing experience required, 5 years experience preferred.
- Previous experience in metal spinning or related metal forming processes preferred.
