  • Pay Rate: $18–$24/hr (based on experience)
Shift/Hours:
Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:30 PM, with rotational Saturday coverage
Job Summary:
The Phlebotomist Patient Services Representative (PSR I) serves as the face of the organization for patients visiting for diagnostic testing. This role involves collecting high-quality blood samples, ensuring accurate specimen preparation, and maintaining strict confidentiality and professionalism. The PSR I builds trust with patients while following established protocols for specimen collection and processing in both clinical and forensic environments.
Under the supervision of the area lead, the PSR I will maintain a safe, organized, and professional environment, supporting patient satisfaction and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform daily phlebotomy and specimen collection activities accurately and on time.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and professional collection environment.
  • Execute both clinical and forensic specimen collection procedures in compliance with company standards.
  • Prepare specimens for transport to the laboratory and maintain all required documentation.
  • Deliver quality, error-free work in a fast-paced, patient-facing environment.
  • Provide outstanding customer service to patients, clients, and internal team members.
  • Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of patient records.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively with team members.
Required Experience:
  • Minimum 6 months of phlebotomy experience required.
  • Proven ability to perform accurate and efficient specimen collection.
  • Experience working with pediatric and geriatric patients.
Nice-to-Have Experience:
  • One or more years of phlebotomy experience.
  • Customer service background in a healthcare or retail environment.
  • Data entry or keyboarding experience.
  • Medical assistant or paramedic training.
