Job Opportunity: Physician - Maternal Fetal Medicine
Join our vibrant practice in Richmond, Virginia, where we are seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Maternal Fetal Medicine specialist. Job Responsibilities:- Open to part-time with guaranteed hours or full-time candidates
- Practice in an outpatient setting.
- New position availability necessitates coverage.
- Responsible for outpatient clinics, consults, and limited inpatient procedures at two hospitals.
- No deliveries required in this role.
- Work with a 2+ physician MFM practice providing consult-only services.
- Two outpatient clinic locations supported by Nurse Practitioners.
- Minimal procedures including cerclages and in-office Amniocentesis.
- Involvement with Level 2 and Level 3 NICUs covered by qualified neonatologists.
- Use of Viewpoint and EPIC systems for practice management.
- At least 1 year of Maternal Fetal Medicine work experience preferred; upcoming fellowship graduates are also welcome to apply.
- This is a permanent position requiring local residency; relocation may be necessary.
- Position is not suitable for long-distance commuters or those with lapsed Board Certification.
- Board Certified in OB/GYN - REQUIRED
- Truly Board Eligible (1-5 years from residency working toward BC) or Board Certified in Maternal Fetal Medicine - REQUIRED
- Fellowship-trained in MFM (to be completed prior to start) - REQUIRED
- Virginia medical license (or willingness to obtain) - REQUIRED
- BLS, ACLS (or willingness to obtain) - REQUIRED
- Clean malpractice and license history - REQUIRED
- Preference for candidates with at least 1 year of MFM experience (not including fellowship).
- Valid VA Medical License (or willingness to obtain).
- Board Certification in Maternal Fetal Medicine (or Board Eligibility).
- ACLS and BLS certifications (or willingness to obtain).
- DEA registration must be secured prior to start (no exemptions).
