Position: IT Project Manager (Only Local Candidates) Location: Topeka, KS, 66607 (First month fully onside and then from 2nd months it would be hybrid 2-3 days a week) Duration: 6 month contract

Job Description:

Required Skills: • 2+ Years of experience working as a PM

Description: • This is technical and applications work implementing and supporting integrated software systems. Assists with training individuals and groups. Work also involves supervising the collection, analysis, reporting and maintenance of the Kansas Judicial Branch caseload statistical data. Examples of Work Performed (Position may not include all of the duties listed, nor do the examples cover all the duties which may be performed.) • Provides daily support of systems for the district courts. • Gathers details from courts on operations and training needs to develop district-specific materials and training. • Improves documents, processes and software integration support processes. • Serves as team lead for the implementation and support of integrated software systems. • Coordinates implementation and training schedules based on resources, support and geographic locations. • Resolves implementation problems. • Performs related work as required.

Required Education and Experience: • Bachelor's degree in computer science or system-related filed, business administration or related fields supplemented by teaching or training experience involving information technology and systems, OR equivalent information technology and systems, OR equivalent information technology or project management experience. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities • Knowledge of information technology management as it relates to the conversion and integration of systems, data, and work processes. • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with court officials, employees, government representatives, vendors and the public. • Ability to prepare and present effective training in technical subject matter to professional, paraprofessional and clerical employees. • Ability to organize tasks and work independently.
