Overview

Ray Laethem is a fast-paced, automotive dealership committed to excellence in both sales and service. We\'re looking for a detail oriented and reliable Accounting Clerk to join our office team and support daily financial and administrative operations.

Responsibilities

• Post and verify dealership transactions in the accounting system
• Communicate with internal departments and external vendors as needed
• Perform general administrative tasks and support the office team
• Assist with monthly and year end closing
• Post car deals into the accounting system
• Calculate cost of goods sold, to determine the actual cost of the vehicle to the dealership
• Verify all supporting documents are complete and correct

Qualifications

• Previous accounting or bookkeeping experience (required)
• Automotive dealership accounting experience (preferred but not required)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
• Experience with accounting systems is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
