We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Accounting Manager to join our nonprofit organization in North Nashville. This role is essential to maintaining the financial health and transparency of our mission-driven work.

Base pay range

$80,000.00/yr - $95,000.00/yr

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of bookkeeping including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations
• Prepare monthly financial statements and assist with budgeting and grant reporting
• Maintain accurate records using QuickBooks or similar accounting software
• Ensure compliance with nonprofit financial regulations
• Support annual audits and 990 preparation

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Accounting Manager, preferably in a nonprofit setting
• Strong understanding of GAAP and nonprofit accounting principles
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Preferred Skills

• Experience with grant tracking and restricted funds
• Familiarity with donor management systems
• Passion for community-focused work
