Accounting Analyst

NSB Omega is searching for an Accounting Analyst for our MAJOR Oil & Gas Client in Houston, TX.

Responsibilities

• This position serves as a key function to the process of recording and initiating product purchases and sales to third parties as well as intercompany transactions.
• Completing monthly closing activities, including booking of accruals and actuals and ensuring accuracy of entries.
• Assist in resolving issues primarily related to volume differences in inventory reconciliation and invoice processing.
• Recording bulk purchases, bulk sales, exchanges, and inventory movements in SAP.
• Supporting projects or initiatives of the team.

Close note: Ensure all relevant transactions are captured accurately in the monthly close.

Position Requirements

Basic/Required

• Legally authorized to work in the job posting country
• Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Right Angle or SAP experience

Preferred

• CPA, Masters in Accountancy, MBA or MIS minor
• 1 or more years of direct experience in an accounting/finance function
• Proven leadership ability
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills/team player
• Results oriented
• Outstanding oral and written communication/presentation skills
• Organizational skills
• Able to prioritize responsibilities
