Overview

Nomadix Inc. is excited to announce its search for a Senior Accounting Manager reporting to the Group Controller.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare month-end close procedures for several related entities and provide financial statement reporting; review balance sheet reconciliations and financial reports prepared by others.
• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, assist with system implementation, cash management, tax support, audit support, and accounting matters raised by Staff or cross-functional teams.
• Perform the month-end general ledger close processes and oversee staff month-end procedures and reconciliations.
• Prepare reconciliation of funds from the airline wifi merchant of record line of business and prepare remittances and reports for airline customers.
• Implement and/or maintain technical accounting for revenue recognition and deferred revenue, debt accounting, intercompany accounting, and currency translation gains/losses.
• Prepare and update a statement of cash flows and cashflow forecast using historical data.
• Report financial results at month-end to the parent company using Hyperion Financial Management (HFM).
• Train, supervise, and review the work of accounting staff.
• Provide support for audit and tax filings.
• Prepare an internal controls assessment and support the audit of internal controls as needed.

Must Have Requirements

• 7-10 years public accounting and/or private company experience, including experience with technology start-ups
• Familiar with Accounting Seed and QuickBooks
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Advanced Excel skills
