Accounting Manager Job at LBMC Staffing Solutions, LLC in Nashville

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Accounting Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment. This position involves participation and oversight in daily and month end accounting functions, including general ledger, account reconciliations, financial reporting, payroll, and accounts payable/receivable. The ideal candidate will be comfortable rolling up their sleeves to ensure accuracy and efficiency across all financial operations and working collaboratively with other Corporate and Divisional teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and actively participate in daily accounting operations including:
• Bank/Balance Sheet Reconciliations
• Journal entries
• Payroll processing
• Accounts payable and receivable
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Maintain and review general ledger, sub-ledgers, and account reconciliations.
• Monitor cash flow and communicate funding needs.
• Work with outside Accounting Firm for all tax-related returns and filings
• Conduct analytical reviews of department income statements and corporate balance sheet.
• Supervise and train accounting staff, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Collaborate with external accountants during audits and tax filings.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal financial policies.
• Identify and implement process improvements for efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred).
• Roll-up Business Entity Structure
• 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, Sage).
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
• Comfortable working independently and collaboratively.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, research abilities.

Location: Nashville, TN. Compensation: $160,000.00-$185,000.00.
