Responsibilities

• Direct and develop a team of accounting professionals across AP, AR and Treasury
• Manage daily financial transactions including billing, payments, collections and reconciliations
• Drive process improvements that enhance accuracy and streamline workflows
• Own the month-end close process and ensure clean, timely reporting
• Serve as the audit liaison, preparing documentation and maintaining compliance
• Oversee cash flow operations and reporting in partnership with banking institutions
• Collaborate across departments to solve issues and align operations

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA a plus
• 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting, with 2+ years in a leadership role
• Proficiency with ERP/accounting systems like NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle
• Proven ability to manage multiple transactional accounting functions
• Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
• A track record of process improvement and team development

The salary range for this role is $120,000 to $135,000, plus bonus. A comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, and 401(k) to eligible employees. The position is a hybrid role in downtown Chicago.
