Base pay range: $100,000.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr Responsibilities Provide accurate, comprehensive, and timely financial information to senior management Develop, implement, and maintain financial controls and guidelines Improve company-wide accounting policies and procedures Achieve budgeting goals with proper scheduling, analysis, and corrective action Help develop and support short and long-term operational strategies Establish financial and operating benchmarks, budgets, program monitoring, and reporting standards on a weekly, monthly, and annual basis Oversee and manage the accounting, finance, and financial reporting function with leadership that promotes trust, integrity, and productivity Manage and monitor all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems ensuring compliance with GAAP, regulatory requirements, and internal/external stakeholders Develop and enforce internal controls to maximize protection of company assets, policies, procedures, and workflow Implement consistent accounting policies, practices, and procedures throughout the organization Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting Master’s Degree in Accounting and/or professional accounting certification (CPA, CMA, CGA, or CA preferred) 8-10 years of proven accounting experience with increasing responsibility 5 years of experience as a senior-level accounting controller Strong working knowledge of detailed financial data analysis and progress billings Working knowledge of federal, state, and local tax compliance regulations and reporting Salary starting at $100,000 Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Full-time Job function Accounting/Auditing and Finance Industries Accounting Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Creative Financial Staffing (CFS) and get notified about new Accounting Controller jobs in Atlanta, GA . #J-18808-Ljbffr
