Manufacturing Associate - Trainee Program Assembler Trainee Pay: $17.25 (with no direct experience). We are looking to train willing candidates in our Electronic Assembler Trainee program. The Trainee Role: Pay $17.25. This position performs tasks that support the electronic and electro-mechanical assembly operations in a manufacturing environment. Typical tasks may involve mechanical assembly using small hand tools, wiring and fastening terminal connectors and similar tasks and could involve simple soldering. Responsibilities Perform mechanical assembly using small hand tools Wiring and fastening terminal connectors Able to perform simple soldering of PCB electronic components Read and follow written assembly instructions accurately Operate small hand tools, manual and electronic screw drivers, tweezers, soldering irons, pliers, strippers, crimpers, etc. Qualifications Assembly, warehouse or manufacturing experience Must be comfortable using basic math Aptitude to learn simple soldering of PCB electronic components Able to read and follow written assembly instructions accurately Ability to communicate and understand verbal and written instructions in English Capable of reading and following written assembly instructions and using small tools as listed The position requires sitting or standing at work benches and may involve using microscopes and magnifying glasses.
