Almost 20,000 Students 10 Campuses Competency Based Education Online Senior Data Analyst Description South College is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join the Data Analytics team! As Senior Data Analyst, you will be responsible for delivering value to the college through actionable insights using advanced data analytics. We are looking for a motivated analytics professional that can solve business problems through critical thinking. The person in this role must have excellent communication skills and the ability to take complex problems and present simplified solutions with little oversight. Responsibilities Analyze large datasets related to student admissions, enrollment trends, retention rates, and student services to identify patterns and opportunities to enhance student experience and increase company profitability. Provide data-driven recommendations to college leadership and departments to inform strategic decisions. Become a Subject Matter Experts in respective areas of responsibility, possessing unparalleled knowledge to answer any question and drive data-informed strategies that enhance student admissions, retention, and/or services at the college. Create dashboards, reports, and visualizations (e.g., using Tableau or Power BI) to communicate insights to admissions, student affairs, and academic teams. Develop and maintain predictive models to support student retention and success initiatives, such as identifying at-risk students. Work with the Artificial Intelligence team leader and other stakeholders to integrate data insights into AI-driven tools and processes. Ensure data accuracy and integrity by implementing data cleaning and validation processes in compliance with FERPA and other regulations. Identify opportunities to streamline data workflows and improve analytics processes for student-focused initiatives. Guide and mentor junior data analysts, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment. Education Bachelor’s degree in Analytics required Master’s degree in Analytics preferred Experience 2+ years of experience in Analytics in the workplace preferred Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or similar tools, and experience with visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). Strong ability to interpret complex datasets and translate findings into actionable insights. Familiarity with student lifecycle data, including admissions, retention, and support services. Ability to present data insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders, such as department heads and the executive team. #J-18808-Ljbffr
