This role is onsite 5 days a week out of our Juneau, Wisconsin office. What You’ll Do The Manufacturing Recruiter will be responsible for the full cycle recruiting process by proactively sourcing for talent, guiding the interview process, and working with hiring managers on open roles with an emphasis on manufacturing-focused positions. The Manufacturing Recruiter will be a brand ambassador, ensuring that all candidates receive a world-class experience while demonstrating Whisker values at each hiring process step. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Works closely with hiring managers for each open position: completes an intake session to understand department needs and role responsibilities; understands the makeup of the hiring department and team culture. Recruits candidates from multiple sources (Whisker Careers site, LinkedIn, Indeed, Handshake, career fairs); builds a pipeline using recruiting software. Completes video/phone screens with qualified candidates promptly. Recruits for labor, hourly, assembly positions, including phone screens, onsite interviews, and tours; supports onboarding; conducts tours at Whisker locations. Understands manufacturing processes to conduct thorough interviews and answer candidate questions. Assesses resumes for specific hiring roles and aims to recruit top talent. Manages calendars to schedule virtual and onsite interviews; delivers resumes and notes to hiring leaders. Delivers offers and negotiates details with candidates; drafts new hire paperwork; conducts background checks; participates in onboarding with the Talent Acquisition Manager. Anticipates staffing levels and proactively finds talent; manages vendor relationships with recruiting agencies; uses creative sourcing techniques and networks at events to attract passive candidates. Represents the company at local and regional universities and career fairs; supports campus relations as needed. Reviews recruitment activities to develop strategies that increase successful hires; partners with hiring leaders to provide updates with urgency; ensures cultural and technical fit for positions. Trains supervisors by developing materials and best practices; performs other HR duties as assigned.
