Overview

Insight is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Associate to join our Warehouse team in Hanover Park, IL. As a Warehouse Associate, you will ensure incoming products are received, picked, packed, and quality checked with accuracy and efficiency. You will work in a team-oriented environment, follow warehouse and safety procedures, and use computer systems to track shipments.

Location: Hanover Park, IL, US
Shift: 2 pm - 10:30 pm

Key Responsibilities

• Verify contents of shipments compared to shipping documents; note discrepancies or damage.
• Operate computer terminal to enter receipts, print labels, and manage inventory data.
• Pick outbound orders using RF scanners, verifying quantity and correct product.
• Select the right size of boxes, pack products, and place boxes onto the conveyor line to be quality checked in the upper mezzanine.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with warehouse safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Education or equivalent.
• At least 6 months of warehouse experience and knowledge of shipping, warehouse, and safety procedures.
• Some computer experience; ability to use RF technology.
• Strong organization, time management, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to respond effectively to inquiries or complaints in a timely manner.
