Overview St. Luke's Cancer Institute is seeking a BC/BE Palliative Care Physician to join our nationally recognized oncology team. This role is essential to our mission of delivering compassionate, patient-centered care to individuals facing serious and complex illnesses. You will be part of a dynamic, interdisciplinary team that includes oncologists, advanced practice providers, nurses, social workers, chaplains, and other specialists. We are seeking a physician who is passionate about improving the quality of life for patients and their families throughout the cancer journey.

Medical Director opportunity to lead our Supportive Oncology Program, drive the advancement of supportive care services, foster interdisciplinary collaboration, and shape strategic clinical initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Provide expert palliative care consultation for oncology patients in outpatient settings

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans

Support patients and families in navigating complex medical decisions, symptom management, and goals of care

Educate staff, patients, and families on palliative care principles and best practices

Participate in program development, quality improvement initiatives, and educational efforts

Qualifications

MD or DO from an accredited medical school

Board-certified or board-eligible

Eligible for medical licensure in Idaho

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care

Experience in palliative oncology care preferred
