Regional Vice President Of Business Development Job Locations: US-TN-NASHVILLE | US-TX-SAN ANTONIO | US-CO-DENVER

Overview The Regional Vice President (RVP) of Business Development is responsible for leading the Area Business Development team(s) and executing strategic initiatives to drive business growth and increase revenue within a specific region or territory. Develops and implements sales and marketing strategies, identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with key clients and partners, and manages the area business development leaders. The RVP of Business Development plays a crucial role in expanding the company's market presence and achieving financial targets.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement the sales and marketing strategies to grow and expand the Home Health business in the region.

Ensure alignment and implementation of sales strategy through discussions with the area leadership team.

Monitor and maintain data on market area including competitors and marketing strategies and develop a comprehensive marketing plan designed to meet budgetary volume projections.

Manage and direct the Area Operations Leaders in planning in-services, presentations, and in addressing issues with referral sources.

Initiate and coordinate contract negotiations with agencies, funding sources, facilities, insurance companies, and managed care organizations.

Support and promote company philosophy to referral sources in the community.

Develop and maintain comprehensive working knowledge of organization's markets including key referral sources, competitors, governmental agencies, and major payer groups.

Monitor current industry and marketplace changes and opportunities for competitive advantage.

Participate and contribute to the annual budgeting process for the HH Division for the respective area of responsibility.

Hold leaders (business development) and teams accountable for the achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual budgets and business / clinical quality goals.

Provide leadership, mentoring, coaching and development to direct reports.

Report on plans and achievement of business, admission and clinical / quality goals to division President and Company CEO.

Recruit, interview, hire, and train direct reports.

Monitor turnover in the area of responsibility and ensure proper hiring, training, and development of newly hired staff.

Collaborate with business partners and use appropriate resources to accurately forecast monthly admissions/growth.

Assigned territory and area of operation can change based on business need.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field.

Ten years experience in hospice and/or home health business development.

Proven success in the development and execution of strategic marketing plans.

Excellent presentation, public speaking, and sales skills.

Experience in strategic planning and collaboration with executive, sales, product development and key operational groups.

A deep and broad professional network that aligns to our target client base preferred.

Demonstrated track record in building new book of business, client relationship management, and evidence of closing and growing accounts preferred.

Ability to work with remote teams with units in multiple locations.

Relationship building skills.

Travel 25% to 75%.
