Overview

Vice President of Operations at hireneXus. This executive will oversee all national operations and shape the company’s strategic direction, developing and executing operational strategies to improve profitability, resource utilization, and customer satisfaction, with a relentless commitment to safety and quality. This is a pivotal leadership role for someone with strong operational acumen, industry experience, and a track record of success in PE-backed, high-growth environments. Key Responsibilities

Provide strategic leadership and day-to-day oversight of operations across multiple regions and service lines. Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to boost efficiency, productivity, and overall profitability. Manage field operations, workforce deployment, and fleet performance to ensure optimal resource utilization and cost control. Oversee vendor partnerships and supply chain logistics to maintain quality standards and manage costs effectively. Own and manage operational budgets, cost of goods sold (COGS), and margin performance. Lead the implementation and enhancement of ERP systems and data tools to drive operational insight and informed decision-making. Promote a strong safety culture through audits, compliance programs, and accountability initiatives. Partner closely with executive leadership and private equity stakeholders to execute strategic growth and transformation initiatives. Represent the organization at key customer, vendor, and industry events—strengthening relationships and enhancing brand visibility. Ideal Candidate Profile

Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Construction, Transportation, or a related field—or equivalent practical experience. 10–15 years of progressive leadership experience in industrial services, construction, transportation, or heavy equipment operations. Track record of successfully managing multi-site operations with full P&L responsibility. Prior experience in a private equity–backed environment is strongly preferred. Demonstrated ability to scale operations, lead change initiatives, and drive margin improvements. Strong leadership presence with sharp analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
