A rewarding opportunity is available for a skilled Speech‑Language Pathologist (SLP) to support K‑12 students in a dynamic school setting in Sunnyvale, CA. This contract position spans the current school year and involves working collaboratively with educators, parents, and other professionals to provide specialized speech and language services.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students.
Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to diverse student needs.
Collaborate with teachers and staff to integrate communication goals into classroom activities.
Maintain detailed records and document progress in compliance with school policies.
Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to goal setting.
Provide guidance and support to students’ families regarding communication development.
Desired Qualifications
Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech‑Language Pathology (SLP‑CCC).
Experience in pediatric speech‑language pathology within healthcare and school environments.
Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred.
Strong knowledge of speech and language development in children and adolescents.
Familiarity with K‑12 educational settings and compliance requirements.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage students, families, and staff.
Location Sunnyvale, California
