-hours Schedule:
Days Key Responsibilities: Perform high-quality diagnostic radiographic exams in accordance with physician orders. Operate and maintain radiographic equipment including portable and C-arm units. Ensure accurate patient identification and documentation within EPIC EMR and Sectra PACS. Adhere to radiation safety standards and infection control protocols. Provide compassionate care and support to patients throughout imaging procedures. Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. Perform daily equipment checks and report any malfunctions or safety concerns. Maintain accurate records of all procedures and ensure timely image transmission to PACS. Participate in on-call or weekend coverage as assigned. Requirements: Minimum
3 years of Radiologic Technologist experience
required ARRT certification
(American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) required Active Connecticut state license
must be in hand prior to start EPIC EMR experience
