The Jon Egging Trust are seeking a highly motivated individual with experience of working with young people to plan and deliver inspiring teamwork, leadership and employability programmes in Hampshire. The role involves liaising with school staff, local partners (including the Military and local businesses) and volunteers to ensure programmes meet the needs of our young people and is supported by the Regional Manager, Hampshire and Dorset. Key responsibilities
• Plan and deliver inspiring teamwork, leadership and employability programmes for young people in Hampshire. • Liaise with secondary schools and local businesses to tailor programmes to their needs. • Work with volunteers, school staff and partner organisations to support programme delivery. • Manage administrative tasks and reporting to meet the needs of the organisation. • Travel to partner schools and business sites within Hampshire; fuel expenses paid and travel time included as part of working hours. • Deliver core delivery time usually within the school working day and during school terms only, with flexibility for other working hours. • Promote an inclusive culture that respects individual strengths, views and experiences, ensuring the best outcomes for all young people. Required experience and qualifications
• Proven experience working with young people, ideally in an educational or youth development setting. • Strong communication, teamwork and leadership skills. • Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills, with the ability to build relationships with schools and local partners. • Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule to meet site needs. • DBS check (enhanced with children’s barred) and evidence of right to work in the UK required.
