Base Pay Range
$80,000.00/yr - $100,000.00/yr
Job Summary The business analyst is assigned to one or more projects for the company in addition to improving support operations. The primary responsibility of this position is to define and test business requirements for a technology solution and related business processes. This role will also advance our support operations by creating better automation and introducing self-help resources.
This position works closely with the VP, IT, Director of Delivery, and company-side resources. Company-side resources can include stakeholders, product owners, and subject matter experts.
The winning candidate will be inquisitive and a fast learner, while at the same time being adaptable, coachable, and open to new approaches to technology solution projects.
Essential Job Functions
Write Personas, Epics, and User Stories for new project intake
Write test cases with traceability to user stories
Summarize requirements for end user and stakeholder reporting
Define requirements, develop and maintain a support intake bot that:
Responds to end-user queries with relevant knowledge base articles.
Automatically creates and routes tickets based on user input.
Partner with department leads to develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and job aids for recurring support topics.
Ensure documentation is accessible, up-to-date, and aligned with support workflows and automation logic.

Technical Skills and Experience Required:
2+ years as business analyst
Fluency with Visio/Lucid/ Miro/Mural + Jira/Azure DevOps + Confluence/Sharepoint
Agile experience: Writing Epics, Personas, and User Stories
Create detailed requirements, including acceptance criteria
Writing and execution of test cases that tie to design requirements
Can create Operating Platform Model on whiteboard
Design business processes via activity diagrams
Hands‑on experience designing and building agentic solutions within conversational AI platforms (e.g., Copilot Studio)
Important:
Hands‑on experience with ITSM platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, Freshservice, Jira Service Management)
Thoughtful practitioner within methodologies and frameworks
C4, UML knowledge or other modelling experience
Strong writing and presentation skills
Desirable, but not required:
Collaborate with Technology Team to document some artifacts: Deployment Model and Sequence Diagram
Project Management experience, including MS Project or similar
Experience with Jira or similar
Good practices for version control of artifacts
Can organize own work and that of team
Nontechnical Skills Required:
C4, UML or other modelling experience
Confident with interviews, leading workshops and exhibiting influence without authority
Important:
Can zoom from big picture to detail
Creative thinking, problem solving, and decision making
Experience in position's region
Teaching / Coaching Skills
