Senior HR Generalist @ AGSE | HR/Payroll Management
About the Role
As an IT Systems Administrator, you will own the health, security, and performance of our on‑premises and cloud infrastructure. You’ll collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure mission‑critical systems are resilient, scalable, and aligned with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Server & Virtualization Management – Install, configure, patch, and monitor Windows / Linux servers and virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper‑V, or equivalent).
Cloud Operations – Administer Microsoft 365/Azure (or AWS/GCP) services, including identity, security, and cost optimization.
Network & Security – Maintain LAN/WAN, VPN, firewalls, and switch configurations; enforce security best practices and compliance standards (e.g., CIS, NIST).
Backup & Disaster Recovery – Design and test backup, replication, and DR strategies to meet defined RPO/RTO targets.
Automation & Scripting – Develop PowerShell/Bash scripts and leverage configuration‑management tools to automate routine tasks.
Monitoring & Troubleshooting – Use SolarWinds, Event Logs, Alerts, and performance‑monitoring tools to detect, diagnose, and resolve system issues proactively.
User & Endpoint Support – Serve as Tier II escalation for complex workstation, mobile, and application problems.
Documentation & Compliance – Create and maintain SOPs, diagrams, and asset inventories; assist with audits and policy enforcement.
Project Delivery – Lead or contribute to infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and new technology rollouts on time and within budget.
Mobile Device Management & Endpoint Security – Manage MDM platforms (e.g., Intune, Duo) and enforce security policies for mobile and BYOD devices.
SaaS/Paas Administration – Administer core SaaS/Paas platforms (e.g., Mimecast, Ring Central), including SSO integration and license management.
Vendor & License Management – Coordinate with vendors, track renewals, and optimize software and hardware licensing agreements.
Security Compliance & Auditing – Conduct regular vulnerability scans, coordinate penetration testing, and remediate findings to maintain compliance.
Mentorship & Knowledge Transfer – Mentor junior IT staff and deliver training sessions for end‑users on new technologies and best practices.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical users.
Administration and support of Microsoft SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive environments.
Excellent problem‑solving abilities with a strong focus on root cause analysis and proactive resolution.
Willingness to travel occasionally to company locations or data centers as needed.
Ability to work overtime occasionally to support critical projects or resolve high‑priority incidents.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. A completed Degree is required from a recognized university to be considered.
3+ years administering Windows and/or Linux server environments in production.
Hands‑on experience with virtualization (VMware ESXi or Hyper‑V).
Proficiency with Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and PowerShell.
Solid understanding of TCP/IP networking, VLANs, VPNs, and firewall rules.
Demonstrated knowledge of backup solutions and DR planning.
Familiarity with security frameworks and patch‑management best practices.
Preferred/Bonus Skills
Certifications such as MCSA/MCSE, Azure Administrator (AZ‑104), AWS SysOps, VMware VCP, or CompTIA Security+.
Bilingual (English and Spanish) is a plus.
Exposure to ITIL processes and ticketing systems (ConnectWise Manage).
Exposure to ConnectWise Control RMM.
Scripting in Python, PowerShell Core, or Bash for automation and reporting.

Pay Range:
$85,000 - $90,000 plus a discretionary bonus.
While a Company bonus is not guaranteed, this position’s maximum bonus percentage range can be up to 10% of base salary.
Company bonuses are not guaranteed and are based on your performance, the department’s performance and/or the Company’s financial results.
