Senior Manager, People & Culture Business Partner (HRBP) , you will serve as a strategic advisor and hands‑on operator—owning the delivery of critical HR programs and driving accountability across the teams you support. You’ll align Compass’s people strategy with business objectives, coach leaders, resolve complex employee matters, and ensure operational excellence across all HR initiatives. This role is ideal for a senior HR professional who thrives in a fast‑paced, high‑accountability environment—someone who takes ownership, leads with influence, and ensures that programs are executed with precision and measurable impact. What You Will Do
Act as a strategic business partner to senior leaders, aligning people strategy with business goals and driving accountability for talent outcomes. Own the rollout and execution of key people programs and processes including performance management, annual reviews, compensation planning, talent reviews, succession planning, employee engagement, retention, and key people metrics. Drive accountability across leaders and cross‑functional stakeholders to ensure consistent adoption, follow‑through, and delivery of HR programs and initiatives. Manage and mentor 1–2 team members once ramped, providing hands‑on coaching, clear direction, and consistent feedback to support their development and ensure high‑quality delivery of HR programs and services. Hold yourself and others accountable for results, ensuring timely execution, transparent communication, and clear ownership of next steps. Serve as a trusted advisor and escalation point on employee relations matters, balancing risk management, fairness, and alignment with Compass’s values. Coach and develop managers and employees, building leadership capability, engagement, and clarity around performance expectations. Collaborate with Business Partnering team members and cross‑functional partners (e.g., HR Centers of Excellence, Legal, Payroll, Finance) to deliver integrated, compliant, and scalable people solutions. Use data and insights to proactively identify trends, influence decision‑making, and measure the success of people and culture initiatives. Build compliance and consistency into every HR process, ensuring policies, documentation, and execution meet regulatory and ethical standards. Demonstrate ownership by anticipating needs, solving problems before they escalate, and following through on commitments with precision and integrity. What We’re Looking For
BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience; advanced degree or HR certification (PHR/SPHR/SHRM‑SCP) preferred. 8+ years of progressive HR experience, with demonstrated success as a strategic HRBP supporting senior leadership in a fast‑paced or matrixed environment. Proven track record of owning and delivering HR programs end‑to‑end, with a strong focus on accountability, consistency, and measurable results. Ownership mindset—you take initiative, drive results, and hold yourself and others accountable for delivering excellence. Proven experience managing HR team members, fostering accountability, capability‑building, and career development. Strong business acumen and the ability to connect people strategies to business outcomes. Deep expertise in employee relations, investigations, and risk mitigation, with sound judgment and pragmatic problem‑solving skills. Operational excellence in managing multiple priorities and driving high‑quality execution under tight timelines. Strong project and stakeholder management skills, ensuring alignment and clear ownership across teams. Data‑driven and metrics‑focused, using insights to identify trends, mitigate risks, and assess impact. Experience with HRIS systems (Workday preferred). Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build credibility at all levels of the organization. What Success Looks Like

The salary pay range for this position is a base pay of $120,000 to $170,000. Bonuses and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of benefits. Base pay is based on market location. Minimum wage for the position will always be met. Perks
