Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Java Backend Developer to design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable backend systems.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and serverless technologies.
This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, efficient, and reliable software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain high-performance and scalable backend systems using Java.
Build and optimize microservices architecture for improved performance and reliability.
Develop RESTful APIs to support business functionalities and integrate with frontend services.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including frontend developers, product managers, and QA engineers.
Ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness of backend applications.
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best industry practices.
Implement robust security and data protection measures.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to backend services and APIs.
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in backend development and microservices.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
7+ years of proven experience as a Java Backend Developer or similar role.
Strong experience in writing web servers and developing middleware.
Proficiency with Node.js.
Solid understanding of encryption, encryption libraries, and encoding/decoding principles.
Strong security awareness and understanding of common backend vulnerabilities.
Experience with serverless technologies in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Good understanding of serverless architecture and related services.
Hands-on experience with NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB.
Strong knowledge of data structures.
Familiarity with FHIR R4 data structures is a plus.
Experience writing webhooks and implementing cron-like operations using EventBridge is a plus.
Knowledge of Python is an added advantage.
