Job Responsibilities Demonstrates extensive knowledge and familiarity of AutoCAD Civil3D drafting techniques including, but not limited to, 3D surfaces, pipe/roadway alignments, plan and profile design, corridors, gravity/pressure pipe networks, and cut/fill analysis. Assists in the overall management and maintenance of the Atlas CAD Standards.

Staff will be responsible for applying established technical approaches, process, and methods under the supervision of an experienced engineer and Project Manager to develop engineering design documents for civil site construction projects, that will generally involve engineering calculations, design reports, grading, drainage plans, hydrologic/hydraulic studies, and civil site design.

Demonstrates knowledge and familiarity of AutoCAD Civil3D drafting techniques including, but not limited to, 3D surfaces, pipe/roadway alignments, plan and profile design, corridors, gravity/pressure pipe networks, and cut/fill analysis. Assists in the overall management and maintenance of the Atlas CAD Standards.

Staff's primary focus will be on project production and delivery.

Staff will collaborate closely with the Civil Site Engineering Team to create CAD models, calculations and reports for the preparation of contract and construction documents, specifications, and coordination efforts for permitting.

Additionally, they will acquire foundational knowledge in Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPP) standards, the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES), stormwater management, and stormwater treatment designs.

Minimum Requirements

BS in Civil Engineering, Civil Engineering Technology, or Environmental Engineering. Engineers in Training.

EIT Certification Requires a minimum of 3-7 years' experience.

Basic awareness of Problem solving and decision making required.

Basic awareness of digital literacy skills.

Basic familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D design software required.

3-7 years of Civil3D experience.

Valid Driver's License.

Technical Requirements

Engineer In Training certified.

Autocad Civil3D, Hydraflow Hydrographs, HydroCAD.

Erosion Control GSWCC Certification.

Technical/Report writing, site visit reports and documentation, Excel, Powerpoint, Word, AutoCAD Civil3D (required)

Other Miscellaneous Qualities

The staff member will actively participate as a valuable member of the Civil Site Engineering Team, honing their technical and non-technical skills to contribute to project success.

They will also have the opportunity to engage with local jurisdictions and permitting officials during the permit coordination phase of projects.
