JOB SUMMARY The Slot Manager provides direct supervision and support to the Slot Team. They also complete analysis of slot performance and recommend changes to product mix based on the key performance Indicators. Responsible for the analysis of gaming reports to optimize the performances of gaming equipment and the daily repair and maintenance of all slot machines, the SDS/CMP system and related equipment on the casino floor. Enforces and writes all internal control procedures, games procedures and policies as outlined in department and company manuals. The slot technical operation inspects, maintains, and repairs slot machines, bill exchangers, printers, related hardware, and the SDS/CMP system. Technical staff is also responsible for periodic maintenance, equipment testing, and service calls. Other duties may include keeping a log of repair work and noting problematic machines. The Slot Manager is responsible to foster an environment that rewards Team Members for providing an exciting environment and World Class Service by delivering Old-World Hospitality and Charm.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The following statements are intended as general illustrations of the work in this class and are not all- inclusive.

Hires, motivates, trains, coaches, and mentors team leaders that possess the aptitude to provide excitement as well as deliver world class service to ensure that Team Members receive sufficient leadership, guidance, and resources to accomplish established objectives of slot technical maintenance and repairs

Must be familiar with del Lago property amenities and all ongoing promotions

Responsible for controlling labor costs through proper forecasting, scheduling, and adjusting of staffing

Must be able to identify areas on the gaming floor by slot zone, bank, and location

Maintain all necessary paperwork and documentation regarding all slot machine activity, maintenance, repairs, and inventory control

Coordinate any slot machine activity on the casino floor with supporting departments and the gaming commission as needed

Analyzes gaming reports to evaluate and optimize performances of gaming equipment and recommend changes as needed

Knowledge and ability to use Excel and Word to create documents and reports

Reports shift activity and coordinates with the slot team on a daily basis, including customer activity and proactive repairs and maintenance, slot moves, diagnostics and any unusual activity

Ensures that staff behavior and appearance follow established standards

Focuses on the company core values

Maintains security and protects company assets at all times

Complete understanding and adherence to Team Member policies including but not limited to coaching and counseling staff and the use of progressive discipline to modify performance

Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior guest service in accordance with department and company standards and programs

Emphasizes and role models the company mission of providing excitement and providing world class service

Effective communicator to ensure that consistent, accurate and timely information is provided to all shifts

Effectively handles customer and Team member concerns and requests

Required to always maintain complete confidentiality of all company information

Performs all job duties in a safe and responsible manner

Supports and enforces the Responsible Gaming Plan, SARS, CTR Reporting and requirements

Performs other duties as may be assigned by department and/or company management

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES In addition to the other duties described herein, every Team Member has the following responsibilities related to compliance with laws and regulations:

Attend required training sessions offered by the casino

Obtain required license(s)

Perform the duties described in compliance with local laws and regulations

Responsible for taking the necessary steps to ensure minors are not allowed to gamble or loiter in gambling areas, drink alcoholic beverages, or purchase tobacco

Knowledge of the ordinances, regulations, laws, policies, and procedures relating to the Team Member’s department

Knowledge of the property’s programs to address problem gambling

Consult with the appropriate individuals and maintain an effective system of written policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with gaming regulations and Internal Controls

Responsible for taking the appropriate steps to investigate exceptions, fraud, and potential violations and report such instances to the appropriate levels of management

Reports any acts of wrongdoing on behalf of any Team Member that they have knowledge of

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE The Slot Manager is required to have a complete understanding of Slot operations, machines, and systems. Progressively provide a responsible gaming experience. Thorough understanding of a variety of slot games, floor and technical operations and fiscal management skills. These skills and abilities are typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor’s degree in and/or related field or equivalent experience and a minimum of five years progressive experience and preferably a minimum of three years of experience in a slot technical position. Must have a gregarious personality, optimistic outlook, passionate about the business, proven track record of leading, inspiring, developing, and motivating constituents, proven track record of success in service excellence, financial and analytical aptitudes, adaptive management style, training advocate, attention to quality details, great communication skills and know how to deliver fun.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONS Must have ability to:

Must be able to sit / stand / walk for long periods of time

Must be able to use an “in ear” communication device for radio communications

Must be able to work in a fast-paced Casino Environment:

Low Lighting

Multiple distractions while multi-tasking

Must be able to work all shifts including holidays, nights, weekend hours

Be physically mobile with the ability to move around all work areas effectively and efficiently with reasonable accommodations

Ability to push, pull, carry, and lift up to 75 lbs.

Ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces or crowded conditions

Must be able to clean and sanitize all gaming equipment as needed
