Senior Global People Specialist at Volta Medical Who are we?
Volta Medical is an innovative, data-inspired US and European-based startup aimed at creating and bringing to the market cutting-edge AI software products to revolutionize interventional cardiac electrophysiology.
Volta has created a data collection and enrichment ecosystem for curated EP lab data which is fed into a physician validated, machine learning methodology to support complex AF solutions. Our newest technology, Volta AF-Xplorer, is a data-driven AI decision support system that easily integrates into the standard physician workflow, providing a patient-tailored approach to complex AF and AT procedures.
Our dynamic, innovative team is made up of 100+ collaborators in the EU and USA from a wide variety of backgrounds including engineers, business professionals and physicians, working together to develop AI solutions that help electrophysiologists help patients.
Drive sales performance and meet key business metrics within the assigned territory by executing strategic commercial initiatives to expand product adoption
Cultivate and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with physicians, EP lab staff, administrators, and hospital executives to support successful commercialization
Lead regional business planning efforts, including opportunity identification, pipeline development, contract proposals and adoption strategies
Provide technical, clinical, and product support during EP procedures and oversee successful deployment and integration of Volta technologies in clinical settings
Deliver ongoing training and education to healthcare professionals, ensuring optimal use of Volta’s technology and promoting clinical excellence
Maintain accurate, up-to-date records in the CRM system, including account activity, sales pipeline, procedural data, and customer-related insights to help identify barriers to adoption
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in the field of science/engineering (biomedical preferred) or related field or equivalent experience
Minimum of 2 years of relevant medical device sales experience is preferred
Previous cardiac electrophysiology mapping experience is preferred but not required
Knowledge and Skills:
In-depth knowledge of cardiac diseases, treatments, and how cardiac mapping technology fits into the clinical workflow
Ability to effectively explain product specifications, functionality, benefits and usage to stakeholders at various levels
Proven ability to generate leads and meet or exceed sales targets
Skilled in handling objections and knowledge of value-based selling
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex technical and clinical requirements
Familiarity with hospitals, clinics and other healthcare settings
Awareness of the purchasing process in healthcare (procurement, GPOs, purchasing committees)
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively manage multiple accounts

This is a remote role based in Charlotte, NC with frequent business travel (about 60%) with possible international travel
Employee must frequently remain in a stationary position for prolonged periods of time, be able to occasionally lift/move up to 50 lbs, and be able to operate a computer
