Chief Financial Officer & VP Business & Finance At the University of San Francisco (USF) we invite accomplished financial leaders to consider serving as its next Vice President and Chief Financial Officer (CFO). The CFO is a strategic partner and trusted advisor, guiding USF’s financial strategy to ensure institutional stability, innovation, and mission alignment. THE OPPORTUNITY The CFO oversees all aspects of USF’s financial management, including:
Strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting
Endowment and investment management
Capital planning, real estate, and facilities oversight
Treasury and debt portfolio management
Financial reporting, compliance, and risk management
The ideal candidate will bring a proven record of executive financial leadership in a complex organization – preferably in higher education, mission-driven nonprofits, or similarly regulated sectors. They combine technical financial acumen with exceptional communication, collaboration, and ethical stewardship.

QUALIFICATIONS
Senior financial leadership experience in higher education, large nonprofit, or corporate environments.
Expertise in strategic planning, investment management, and capital budgeting.
Strong communication and collaborative leadership skills.
Commitment to ethical stewardship and Jesuit mission values.
COMPENSATION $350,000–$400,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
