WW and US Medical Communications Manager
Position type: Full-time- Contract
Duration: 08 Months
Location: Giralda Farms, Madison, NJ (50% onsite)
Responsibilities
Maintains therapeutic area and product knowledge through ongoing assessment of relevant published literature, treatment guidelines, internal resources, and data. Contributes strong medical advice for interdisciplinary meetings and related initiatives including promotional review, disease/brand and launch planning, labeling changes, business reviews, etc.
Critically review and provide solutions to complex promotional strategies and tactics to ensure balance of the messages, medical accuracy, and appropriateness of the content of the materials/activities in accordance with relevant guidance
Proactively align and build strong relationships with commercial and other advisors/stakeholders on issues or concerns
Determine acceptability of data/references used to support claims and provide strong guidance as well as effective negotiation leading to resolution for pieces
Ability to demonstrate leadership within the medical review team to help drive best practices aligned with strategic imperatives. Participates in initiatives aimed at process improvements related to core medical activities
Ensures awareness of current trends within the industry and promotes the sharing of best practices across the medical teams
Completes all assigned SOPs and training within designated timeframe and adheres to job-specific SOPs and work instructions
Qualifications
PharmD, MD or PhD Degree.
1-3 years’ experience critically reviewing and ensuring medical accuracy and scientific validity of promotional and medical communications with robust scientific evidence
Biopharma experience is preferred over retail pharmacy.
Prior experience in therapeutic area preferred.
Pay Range and Benefits Pay Range: $95 - $105 per hour
