Job Overview:

Market Infrastructure is a global team with representation in APCA, EMEA and USA that acts as the technical bridge between exchanges, brokers and other external parties and AAC-USA. By capturing and normalizing trade messages, we ensure that clients and stakeholders have visibility of their trade activity while we meet our regulatory requirements.

As a Business Analyst in Market Infrastructure, you work in a team that focuses on improving the performance of our processes, systems and tooling. You do this by translating product and process improvements into value propositions and end-to-end solutions. You consider the requirements and frameworks set by internal and external stakeholders, such as Risk, development, Operations, and Commercial teams.

This position is based in our Chicago office and requires a minimum of 3 days per week onsite in office.

Job Responsibilities:

5+ years experience as a business analyst in financial services (clearing industry preferred). Experience working in the listed derivatives and equities industry (preferably in the post‑trade environment)

Used to working in an international environment

Experience in business analysis related to the financial market

Experience with financial information exchange (FIX) protocol and other trading system components

Experience working on complex IT implementations together with developers

Proven drive to exceed expectations of internal and external stakeholders

Ability to multi‑task, set priorities and thrive in an externally imposed deadline‑driven environment

Not afraid to dive into details and use your analytical skills

You have affinity working with larger projects and can take the role of leading the change process, including engaging internal stakeholders and other parties involved. You document the progress and ensure that the parties involved meet expected objectives and ensure that AAC‑USA meet external deadlines

Intermediate SQL and Excel skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with GoAnywhere Managed File Transfer (MFT) or similar solutions

Experience with Confluence and Jira

Experience with BitBucket, Git and/or alike

Annual base salary, not including discretionary bonus eligibility: $110,000
