Furniture Repair Technician – CORT
Apply to work as a Furniture Repair Technician at CORT Tradeshow and Events in Secaucus, NJ. The role focuses on repairing and refinishing furniture to meet quality standards for trade shows, events, festivals, weddings, corporate events and large sporting events.
Pay $24 per hour, commensurate with experience.
Schedule Variable hours; weekends required.

Responsibilities
Repair furniture to include work in upholstery, leather/vinyl, wood & laminate repair
Examine worn or damaged furniture to determine extent of repairs required, then perform basic repairs or ship complex repairs to the Las Vegas repair shop
Conduct daily touch‑up and repair of furniture
Order and maintain parts, hardware, and supplies for repair
Train other warehouse personnel in the basics of touch‑up repair
Track daily repaired pieces for warehouse report
Maintain consistent quality and quantity in work produced
Qualifications
18 years of age or older
High school diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience and/or training
Previous furniture repair experience
Able to make minor repairs and paint touch‑ups; match colors
Physically able and willing to move furniture; ability to lift 50+ pounds on a regular basis
Able to operate equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and stand‑up reach trucks (previous experience is a plus)
Must be able to work with chemical‑based repair and cleaning products safely and according to OSHA regulations
Must pass drug screening (does not include THC) as a condition of employment. CORT participates in the E‑Verify program.
