Our client in the Knoxville area is looking for someone with PHP and Magento 1 experience. This role involves 2 days on site and 3 days remote.

Responsibilities
Develop and manage e-commerce websites using Magento 1, Magento 2, Magento 2.3, PHP, and Laravel.
Analyze, design, code, debug, test, document, and deploy applications.
Participate in project and deployment planning.
Customize and style the Magento front end.
Develop Magento modules in PHP using best practices.
Troubleshoot integration issues and debug web applications.
Update website features and security patches.
Collaborate with a team of developers and designers to meet project goals and create effective workflows.
Stay current on the latest industry trends, technology, and best Magento/PHP practices.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Magento/PHP development.
Proficient in Magento 1, Magento 2, Magento 2.3, PHP, and Laravel.
Strong knowledge of Magento architecture and its extensions.
Experience in developing Magento modules, themes, and APIs.
Proficient in MySQL/Postgres or other databases.
Knowledge of JavaScript, jQuery, XHTML, CSS, XML, and SVN.
Strong understanding of e-commerce best practices and system architecture.
Excellent problem‑solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex software issues.
Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
A keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple task assignments.
