Financial Analyst I or II – Cincinnati Children’s

Join Cincinnati Children’s as a Financial Analyst I or II and contribute to improving children’s health through data‑driven financial analysis, budgeting, revenue cycle management, and external funding compliance. Financial Analysis

– Prepare financial models and analyses to support business transactions, service offerings, performance improvement initiatives, and capital budgeting. Develop and maintain reporting for monthly variance analysis, productivity metrics, and revenue cycle management (billing, coding, charge capture). Research and resolve payer issues and participate in projects to reduce costs and meet revenue goals. Procurement and Operations

– Manage purchasing activities, resource allocation, space planning, and efficient patient flow patterns. Review policies and procedures to improve utilization, cost, and quality of care and provide recommendations for operational improvement. Systems and Technology

– Ensure accuracy of data recording and tracking in clinical, human resource, financial, and supply chain systems. Advance technology use for decision making processes. External Funding

– Support external funded projects, develop grant budgets, track expenses, and comply with NIH and other sponsor guidelines. Collaborate with program managers and principal investigators to maximize reimbursement and meet reporting requirements. Leadership

– Provide day‑to‑day functional leadership for a team or manage support staff; establish team goals, conduct performance reviews, guide work assignments, mentor colleagues, and assist with training and staffing strategy. Bachelor’s Degree

in a related field (Bachelor of Science in Accounting or Finance preferred). Minimum 2+ years of related work experience. Benefits
