We are seeking a talented and experienced Creative Director / Lead Designer to join our dynamic team and lead transformative design projects.
Position Overview The Creative Director / Lead Designer will oversee the creative vision and execution of interior design projects and team, ensuring exceptional quality, innovation, and client satisfaction. This role requires a blend of artistic creativity, technical expertise in construction, and strong leadership to manage design team and collaborate with clients, contractors, and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in interior design, with a minimum of 4 years of professional experience, and a deep understanding of construction processes.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute the creative vision for interior design projects, ensuring alignment with client expectations and brand standards.
Lead end-to-end project execution, from concept development and space planning to material selection and final installation.
Create detailed design plans, mood boards, renderings, and presentations to communicate concepts to clients and team members.
Work closely with contractors, architects, and vendors to ensure seamless integration of design and construction processes, adhering to timelines and budgets.
Manage and mentor a team of designers, providing guidance on design techniques, project execution, and professional development.
Build and maintain strong client relationships, presenting design concepts, addressing feedback, and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
Oversee the quality of all design deliverables, ensuring compliance with industry standards, building codes, and client specifications.
Stay updated on interior design trends, materials, and technologies to incorporate innovative solutions into projects.
Qualifications
Minimum of 4 years of professional interior design experience, with a strong portfolio showcasing high-end residential and/or commercial projects.
Proven experience in construction processes, including reading blueprints, understanding building codes, and collaborating with construction teams.
Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field preferred.
Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and 3D rendering tools. Knowledge of Design Manager software is a plus.
Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire design teams, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly to clients and stakeholders.
Location & Availability: Must be located in Naples, FL, or willing to relocate, and available to work onsite Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM.
Creativity: Strong aesthetic sense, with a keen eye for color, texture, and spatial arrangements, and a passion for creating functional yet beautiful spaces.
