Job Description We are looking for an experienced bilingual (English/Spanish) Human Resources Generalist to support our manufacturing operations by aligning HR practices with business objectives. As a strategic advisor and employee advocate, the HR Generalist will work closely with plant leadership to improve organizational performance, employee engagement, and workforce capability. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, proactive, and experienced in the unique HR needs of a fast-paced, production-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary HR point of contact for managers and employees within the plant.
Provide guidance on HR policies, procedures, and best practices to support workforce effectiveness.
Partner with leadership to address workforce planning, talent development, and succession planning.
Support employee relations matters, including investigations, performance issues, and conflict resolution.
Collaborate with the recruiting team to manage talent acquisition and onboarding for plant roles.
Lead or support HR initiatives such as employee engagement, communication and recognition programs.
Facilitate employee development, training, and coaching opportunities in collaboration with Safety.
Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
Administer compensation, benefits and payroll support in coordination with corporate HR.
Champion a positive, inclusive, and safety-focused workplace culture.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or 4 years equivalent related experience.
Strong understanding of labor laws and HR best practices.
Proven experience in employee relations and performance management.
Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to build trust and influence across all levels of the organization.
Familiarity with HRIS systems and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
