Role Summary:
As Fairmont Gold Manager, you will be the ambassador for Fairmont Gold, ensuring smooth operation of the lounge, inventory, and guest experience. You will manage pre-shift, monitor arrivals, coordinate with housekeeping and other departments, resolve guest concerns, and maintain high standards of service and standards.
Responsibilities
Lead pre-shift and ensure all team members are aligned.
Monitor arrivals, rooms, amenities, and lounge operation per standard.
Create daily meal period and break schedule.
Maintain back-of-house areas, clean and up to standards; communicate with housekeeping and stewarding.
Act as Manager on Duty; promptly address guest concerns.
Coordinate with hotel Manager on Duty; maintain open communication.
Collaborate with Housekeeping, Engineering, Culinary, Food & Beverage to ensure smooth operation.
Document and elevate any guest issues using the SCORE entry form in Royal Service Manager; inform upper management of urgent concerns.
Deliver professional, friendly, engaging service.
Lead and coordinate all aspects of the lounge to meet Fairmont Gold standards.
Train and teach Fairmont Gold operation to new hires; supervise in-lounge operations.
Maintain communication with all departments; ensure standards are delivered consistently.
Assist in staffing, scheduling, payroll as required.
Monitor and maintain fair inventory, room and lounge balance.
Resolve complaints, conflict and guest feedback.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Previous experience managing an executive lounge.
Previous customer-service and leadership experience.
Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to multi-task in a high-paced environment.
Computer literate; fluent spoken and written English.
High school diploma or equivalent; college preferred.
Valid U.S. work eligibility.
Proficient in scheduling and guest-satisfaction tools.

Salary range: $85,000–$95,000 per year.
