Client 360 Data Product Owner (Institutional & Wealth Clients, Private Markets)
Boston, MA – Onsite, 4 days per week.
Salary: Up to $190,000 base + 0–40% bonus.
Introduction We are seeking a highly skilled
Client 360 Data Product Owner
to lead the vision, strategy, and execution of an institutional‑grade Client 360 platform. This platform delivers a comprehensive view of institutional and wealth clients across private markets, enabling data‑driven insights, enhanced client reporting, and scalable digital experiences. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in data product management within asset management or private markets, along with strong hands‑on technical skills in
SQL
and
Python .
This hybrid role offers flexibility with 18 remote workdays per quarter and an opportunity to make a significant impact by transforming how client, investor, and account data is unified across the organization.
Required Skills & Qualifications
7–12 years of experience leading data products, developing data strategies, or managing products within
asset management, private markets, or financial services .
Demonstrated expertise in
SQL
and
Python
for data validation and prototyping.
Strong understanding of
data governance, MDM, data models, and entity resolution .
Proven ability to translate business goals into
scalable, high‑quality technical data requirements .
Deep fluency in
private markets
— including
LP/GP structures, fund vehicles, evergreen products, and client reporting .
Bachelor’s degree in
Computer Science, Engineering, Finance , or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and commercial teams.
Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
Experience with
Salesforce, Kurtosys, DealCloud, or eFront
integrations.
Hands‑on familiarity with
agile methodologies
such as Scrum or Kanban.
Strong commercial mindset — able to connect data features to client value and business outcomes.
Track record of driving
operational excellence and continuous improvement .
Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities
Lead the
Client 360 product vision and roadmap
aligned with the firm’s growth strategy.
Define and prioritize features and data domains to unify
client, investor, and account data .
Manage
agile delivery , including product backlogs, release plans, and iteration cycles.
Use
SQL
and
Python
to interrogate datasets, validate requirements, and support backlog refinement.
Translate business needs into
technical requirements
ensuring scalability, data quality, and performance.
Collaborate with
Data Engineering, Product, Platform, and commercial teams
to deliver business value.
Define and maintain
data models
for clients, investors, vehicles, and relationships.
Integrate Client 360 with
core platforms
to support client reporting and digital experiences.
Promote a
data‑driven culture , ensuring Client 360 becomes the firm’s
single source of truth .
