Position:

Associate Principal Scientist, Health Economics

Locations:

London, UK; West Point, PA, USA; Zurich, Switzerland

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain high‑quality global health economic analyses and tools—including epidemiology, cost‑effectiveness, public health, budget impact, and integrated field force tools—to generate business insights and demonstrate product value to payers, HTA agencies, and other stakeholders.

Provide insights on the integrated value evidence strategy and evidence generation from the health economics perspective.

Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to conduct evidence generation and synthesis studies that inform economic models and the value evidence strategy.

Adapt and train global health economic resources for local HEOR teams to support HTA submissions and market access activities.

Disseminate health economic data through presentations at national/international congresses and publications in scientific journals.

Qualifications

Advanced degree (Ph.D., M.S., or equivalent) in health economics, health outcomes research, biostatistics, or a related field.

Expertise and hands‑on experience in conceptualizing, designing, developing, and disseminating health economic analyses in the pharmaceutical industry or consultancy.

Experience with cardiovascular disease products and understanding of the market access environment in key regions (US, Canada, UK, EU4, China, Japan).

Strong interpersonal, organisational, and communication skills with the ability to interact across disciplines.

Proficiency in real‑world studies, literature research, meta‑analysis, and evidence synthesis.

Track‑record of innovative HTA submissions and development of health economic resources.

Excellent presentation and networking skills to work in cross‑functional teams.

Benefits & Work Arrangement

Hybrid work model: three on‑site days per week (Monday–Thursday) with Friday remote in the U.S.; full on‑site required for field‑based and certain in‑person positions.

Travel required for collaboration and conference attendance.
