We’re looking for a leader who will grow philanthropic revenue for our Annual Fund and expand planned giving, including bequests, trusts, and other charitable giving vehicles. Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Advancement and the Executive Director of the Elwyn Health and Human Services Foundation, you will lead, manage, and execute our Annual Fund and Gift Planning programs.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement a strategic comprehensive plan to increase support and participation rates for Annual Fund donors and prospects.

Collaborate with the Marketing Communications team to direct development and production of all Annual Fund materials for print, digital, and social media channels.

Design and implement an Elwyn Family and Alumni Giving program and serve as liaison for the stakeholder engagement program.

Manage a portfolio of donors, soliciting constituents for the Annual Fund and working with the Advancement team to move prospects through the donor pipeline.

Create and manage a schedule of multidimensional appeals that leverage electronic solicitation, direct mail, face‑to‑face, and event platforms to communicate with potential and current donors.

Plan and execute the annual fundraising appeals throughout the year.

Develop strategies to qualify, cultivate, solicit, and steward prospects and donors to secure planned gifts including bequests, life‑income gifts, qualified charitable distributions, appreciated securities, and other gift vehicles.

Manage a portfolio of planned‑giving prospects and donors with the goal of increasing planned gifts and known bequest expectancies.

Provide donors and their advisors with relevant information and access regarding various planned‑giving instruments.

Show knowledge of all planned‑giving vehicles and present them to a range of constituents; stay familiar with current tax laws and trends.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

BA and/or relevant work experience required.

Prior experience in a non‑profit environment preferred.

Demonstrated willingness and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

High proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; CRM experience preferred.

Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact and communicate professionally with staff, board, and donors.
