DAY TO DAY
Plan and implement Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments. Configure host pools, session hosts, workspaces, and application groups. Integrate AVD with Active Directory (Azure AD or AD DS). Create and manage custom virtual machine images (e.g., using Sysprep and Azure Image Gallery). Manage user profiles using FSLogix. Publish virtual desktops and RemoteApps for end users. Apply security controls including Conditional Access and MFA. Monitor system performance with Azure Monitor and Log Analytics. Troubleshoot session, login, and performance issues. Automate deployments and operations with PowerShell, ARM templates, or Bicep. Integrate AVD with Microsoft Intune for endpoint management. Optimize resource usage and implement auto-scaling. QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge of Azure services and their functionalities. Experience and knowledge in Azure services. Advanced knowledge of Azure, especially in Networking, Identity, and Storage. Experience with Windows Virtual Desktop, Windows 10/11 Multi-session, and Windows Server. Experience with FSLogix, Active Directory, Group Policies (GPOs), and Remote Desktop Services (RDS). Familiarity with monitoring and remote support tools. Proficient in PowerShell scripting. BENEFITS
