The Director of Creative Video conceptualizes, executes, and delivers creative video content for Colorado State University Athletics. Individual’s primary duty involves the performance of work requiring imagination, originality and talent in creation of artistic video content that enhances and extends the Colorado State Athletics brand; individual also collaborates with multiple internal and external constituent groups to identify and capture stories; institutes best practices; assists with development of unit workflows to produce ample and timely content; is actively involved in the game-day atmosphere; and cultivates fan engagement and affinity through effective story telling.

Bachelor’s degree
Experience employing and/or operating various cameras, lighting, audio and other video production equipment required
Minimum of 3 years of previous experience in video production or creative video content (intern, GA and professional experience applicable)
Demonstrated understanding of and competency with visual composition and storytelling
Ability to adapt to the ever-changing video production industry
Ability to work on projects individually as well as within a team
Excellent attention to detail as well as strong organizational, communication, and planning skills
Must have a valid driver’s license or the ability to obtain a driver’s license by the employment start date.
