Day to Day:
Our client is building a scalable data governance framework to support enterprise transformation and AI readiness. We’re seeking a hands‑on Data Governance Analyst to partner with our governance lead and help operationalize governance across systems, starting with Salesforce. The Data Governance Analyst will support enterprise‑wide data governance initiatives by translating strategy into execution. This role focuses on profiling, mapping, and monitoring data quality across critical domains, collaborating with data stewards, owners, and technical teams to ensure trusted data products and actionable insights.
Required Skills & Tools
Experience with Informatica IDMC (strongly preferred) second preference Alation, Collibra, and/or Microsoft Purview
Experience in Data Governance
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Ability to work independently and connect dots across domains.
Familiarity with Power BI or Tableau for reporting.
Plusses:
Empathetic and proactive communicator.
Comfortable navigating ambiguity and change.
Detail‑oriented with a systems‑thinking mindset.
Bonus: Python/SQL for data profiling (not required).
Key Responsibilities
Data Profiling & Quality Assessment: Evaluate datasets for accuracy, completeness, consistency, and timeliness. Identify anomalies and support remediation efforts.
Data Mapping & Integration: Define transformation logic between source and target systems. Translate business requirements into technical mapping rules.
Issue Management & Root Cause Analysis: Partner with data stewards to resolve data integrity issues. Diagnose root causes and propose scalable solutions.
Monitoring & Reporting: Develop data health scorecards and governance KPIs. Align metrics with business objectives and data standards.
Metadata & Documentation: Maintain metadata, data dictionaries, and lineage documentation in collaboration with data owners and stewards.
