Job Summary
Edible Brands powers three growing concepts across 700+ locations worldwide. As an AP Accountant, you will be the backbone of our payables process, ensuring invoices are accurate, payments go out on time, and financial records remain clean. Location
Onsite at our Corporate Office in Sandy Springs, GA with remote Fridays. Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities
Process high‑volume invoices, ensuring accuracy, proper coding, and timely approvals. Maintain vendor relationships, responding to inquiries, reconciling statements, and resolving discrepancies. Review employee expense reports and corporate credit card transactions in compliance with policy. Prepare weekly and monthly payment runs with proper authorization and documentation. Assist month‑end close by preparing AP‑related journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals. Maintain AP subledger and reconcile to the general ledger. Monitor cash requirements related to AP and flag timing issues with Treasury. Support audits by providing documentation, schedules, and responding to requests. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Collaborate cross‑functionally with Procurement, Operations, and Finance to ensure smooth AP operations. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field (or equivalent experience). 3–5 years of full‑cycle accounts payable experience, preferably in a multi‑unit retail, hospitality, or QSR environment. Strong knowledge of GAAP related to AP and accruals. Proficiency with ERP systems (Great Plains, SAP, NetSuite, or similar). Intermediate Excel skills (v‑lookups, pivot tables, reconciliations).
